The St.Gallen Cantonal Police ensures peace, security, and order around the clock in the canton of St.Gallen. It investigates crimes and monitors compliance with applicable laws.

The Mobile Police is responsible for the basic police service for the population in 24-hour operation and is thus the first point of intervention.
