The Kantonsschule Wiedikon is a high school with various academic profiles, a bilingual Matura program in German/English, as well as a specialized middle school (FMS). It is a larger school with around 1300 students and 200 teachers. The historic school complex, where the workplace for the advertised position is located, is situated in a quiet location on the Bühl hill in the Zurich-Wiedikon district.
For our media library, we are looking for a media librarian starting March 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Inventory maintenance, media purchasing and cataloging of individual areas
- Advising school members on information and media questions
- Conducting introductions and research training
- Creating internal school marketing activities and promoting digital offerings
Your profile
- Basic library training (professional training I+D EFZ, Bachelor IS or equivalent education) plus several years of practical experience
- Cataloging experience and research skills
- Good IT knowledge (MS Office, library software, and flair for graphic design)
- Enjoy working with young people
- You are a team player, communicative, and service-oriented
