Particularity
The IT Services Directorate (DIT) of the University offers a dynamic working environment, supported by a multidisciplinary team closely linked to an academic community composed of leading researchers and teachers. Within the DIT, the IT support service for teaching and research (DIT-ER) supports researchers through specialized IT expertise, while offering digital tools designed to enrich and support the teaching practices of the University's teachers.
Field of activity
Develop the scientific IT service offering in line with research needs, focusing on computing power, storage volumes, and scientific platforms
Be attentive to the research community, identify the specific needs of researchers, advise and support in the choice and use of IT solutions
Plan, test, and coordinate the introduction of new versions of scientific applications, ensuring their compatibility with the existing infrastructure
Organize and contribute to the implementation of training on IT tools for researchers
Collaborate with internal and external partners at the University to deploy and maintain an institutional research data management system (data management plan, data warehouses, etc.)
Work closely with the IT security manager to ensure the protection of research data and the security of applications used by the scientific community
Write, maintain, and structure user and technical documentation related to scientific applications (guides, manuals, procedures, etc.)
Ensure continuous monitoring of scientific IT applications, coordinating activities related to availability, performance, and service continuity
Plan, in collaboration with other IT services, the evolution of the technical infrastructure necessary for the proper functioning of scientific applications
Actively participate in IT system management, integrating the specific needs of scientific IT into the overall IT management processes
Requirements
Master's and/or PhD in sciences or equivalent degree
Extensive experience in academic and scientific research environments
Understanding of the specific needs of teachers and researchers
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Solution-oriented and proactive
Enjoy working in a team
Proficiency in REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) or similar tools for the collection, structuring, and secure management of data in research, clinical, or academic projects
Proficiency in French or German, with good knowledge of the other language, as well as proficiency in written and spoken English
