Certified nurse for the Endoscopy Service / rooms

To complete its team in the intervention rooms, the Endoscopy Service is looking for a certified nurse with an activity rate between 80% - 100% from May 1, 2026.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.

The endoscopy center is a multidisciplinary technical platform involving several medico-surgical disciplines (Hepato-gastroenterology, otorhinolaryngology, pulmonology, urology, pediatrics). Endoscopy allows either diagnosis or treatment of a disease. It is organized according to scheduled or emergency care 24/7. For non-transportable patients, endoscopy can be performed within the operating room, the premature infant pavilion, the emergency department, intensive care, or continuous care.

Mission

• You ensure all tasks necessary for the preparation and performance of endoscopic procedures, as well as patient sedation
• You ensure the reprocessing of medical devices, patient and staff safety, and respond to any unforeseen events during examinations.

Profile

• You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent title recognized by the Red Cross, mandatory)
• You have an interest in technical aspects
• You have the ability to establish an effective relationship with the patient in a very limited time
• You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team and have the skills for it
• You have a sense of responsibility, show initiative, have good organizational and adaptability skills, technical ability, and flexibility

Depending on the candidate's experience, the salary scale is between level 8 and 9.
