The Business Permits & Certifications team is responsible for certifying documents for use abroad. It also issues permits for travelers, showmen, private security service providers, and transnational marriage and partnership agencies, as well as for conducting gambling activities. In addition to processing written applications, customers are advised at the counter and by phone.
Due to the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a flexible and committed individual to join our small team from June 1, 2026, or by arrangement, who will actively support us.
Tasks
- Intensive personal support of international customers at the counter, alternating with seated activities in the back office. This requires high flexibility and resilience. Due to daily counter work, home office is not possible.
- Independently issuing permits for travelers, showmen, and private security service providers, as well as for conducting lotteries, tombolas, sports betting, poker games, and public collections.
- Certification of official documents for use abroad.
- Collection of fees and management of the daily cash register.
- Preparation of documentation and information sheets, as well as support of the team management in projects and clarifications.
Requirements
- You have completed training as a commercial clerk EFZ (or equivalent) and have several years of professional experience in commercial and customer-oriented activities.
- You have experience in direct customer contact (e.g., counter work) and are used to setting priorities and handling different issues.
- Your working style is independent, efficient, and precise. You also have an interest in legal matters.
- Good team spirit is important to you, you enjoy working with people, and have good manners.
- A confident appearance even under increased pressure is a matter of course for you.
- Your German skills are flawless both spoken and written, and your English skills are good. Additional foreign languages are desirable.
- Due to the current team configuration, Monday is a fixed working day.
