Medical secretary for immuno-allergology and pediatric rheumatology
The Women-Mother-Child Department is looking, from December 1, 2025 or for a date to be agreed upon, for its immuno-allergology and pediatric rheumatology unit, for a medical secretary to complete its administrative team.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and education.
Within the Women-Mother-Child Department, the pediatrics service offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for children aged 0 to 18 years. It maintains close links with other department services such as neonatology, pediatric surgery, adolescent medicine, and gynecology and obstetrics.
Mission
- You ensure the production and flow of medical documents and information internally and externally
- You efficiently manage the organization of the unit's consultation
- You provide administrative support to senior physicians in their clinical activities
- You contribute to the quality, development, and improvement of the unit's services
- You actively collaborate with other secretariats of the service/department to carry out any other tasks within your area of expertise.
Profile
- You hold a commercial CFC and/or a medical secretary diploma or an equivalent recognized title
- You have at least 2 years of successful experience in the medical field
- You have perfect command of French spelling and a good knowledge of medical terminology
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of organization and priorities
- Your collaborative spirit allows you to follow and manage several files in parallel
- You see yourself as a flexible, attentive, discreet, autonomous person with a spirit of mutual aid
- You have the ability to cope with a sustained activity and to work in a multidisciplinary team
- You are comfortable with MS Office software and, ideally, with CHUV's IT tools (AXYA, Ultragenda, Soarian, Archimède.)
Depending on the candidate's profile, the salary class is between 5 and 6.
