Deputy Head of Reservations & Reception
A workplace in the Basel region. Bad Bubendorf with its 53 rooms, three different restaurants, spacious banquet & seminar rooms for 10 to 150 people, as well as civil weddings and catering events, is looking for an experienced, empathetic, and solution-oriented personality as Deputy Head of Reservations & Reception by arrangement. Provide top services in a team of around 6 employees including trainees, with mutual respect and trust.
This is what you provide
- Co-responsibility for the Reservations & Reception area, including training of trainees
- Responsible for smooth & efficient operation of daily business
- Active sales and consulting for wellness stays in the individual sector
- All activities related to room reservations
- Check-in / Check-out of hotel guests
- Care of our hotel guests during their stay
- Control of guest correspondence and arrival preparations
- Voucher management, accounts receivable management, daily closings
- Control of quality standards & promotion of quality awareness in the team
- Complaint handling
- Creating work schedules including vacation planning
This is what you fulfill
- Completed commercial training
- Further education in hospitality desirable
- Leadership experience in a similar position
- Proven revenue management experience is an advantage
- Completed trainer course is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills, prior knowledge of PMS MEWS and event management software Event Temple is an advantage
- Willingness to work weekends and irregular hours
- Overview and humor even in hectic situations
- Very good German and English skills
- Organizational talent and cross-departmental teamwork skills
