As part of our experienced and open laboratory team, you support microbiological analyses of food, feed, and drinking water samples. You appreciate the varied activity profile and contribute with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Job Description
In your new position, you are responsible for the following main tasks:
- You perform microbiological, molecular biological, and biochemical examinations on food, surface, and water samples.
- You carry out PCR rapid methods, ELISA rapid tests, and MALDI-TOF MS analyses.
- You take on equipment responsibilities including inspection and maintenance.
- You conduct laboratory ring trials.
- Depending on prior experience, you support the validation of new methods, customer projects, and quality management tasks.
Qualifications
For this position, you bring the following skills and knowledge:
- You have successfully completed a qualifying education in biology and have already gained practical experience in microbiological analytics, preferably in food analytics (≥ 6 months).
- You are an absolute team player who wants to contribute with a high level of responsibility and personal commitment.
- You are experienced in using PCs and preferably also laboratory information systems (LIMS).
- You have good to very good German language skills (C1 level).
Additional Information

- You have a 40-hour week at 100% with core working hours from 08:00 – 20:00.
- You take on about one weekend shift per month.
