Equality Intern
Coordination Office for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men DECA | 60-80% | Chur
The Coordination Office for Equal Opportunities is the cantonal specialist service for issues related to equality. From an organizational point of view, it reports to the Secretariat of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (DECA). During this internship period of at least six months, the intern will be able to gain an insight into the work of the Coordination Office and its diverse activities. Their work will focus on events, public relations activities, and collaboration on projects related to equality.
For the Coordination Office for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men, we are looking for an intern starting July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- Support in organizing events
- Support in implementing projects related to equality, especially Diversity-gr
- Collaboration in public relations activities: social media, website, newsletter
- Research on relevant topics concerning equality
- General administrative activities
What we expect from you
- Completed vocational training, preferably with a professional baccalaureate, or a bachelor’s degree
- Interest in topics such as gender, equality, and diversity; experience in this field is welcome but not a requirement
- Independent and results-oriented working method
- Language skills
- You are a sociable, insightful person with many interests
- Knowledge of a second and possibly a third cantonal language is an advantage
