Main tasks
- Independent management of your own portfolio of major banks and securities firms as well as the corresponding license-specific daily business (in particular changes in management, adjustments of regulations, restructurings, and market exits)
- Support of exciting licensing projects and independent handling of new licensing procedures for banks and securities firms
- Regular external contact with project initiators, institutions, legal representatives, and audit firms
- Examination of interesting legal questions related to corporate governance as well as the supervision of conventional and blockchain-based companies
- Close cooperation with supervisory areas and cross-functional departments of FINMA
Profile
- Completed law degree with Swiss bar admission, additional training (e.g., dissertation or LL.M.) is an advantage
- Good knowledge of operational and legal requirements of a banking organization
- At least 5 years of experience in financial market law through work at a bank, audit firm, or major law firm
- Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as a confident appearance towards internal and external stakeholders at management level
- Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (C1)
