Director ICT

As a new university psychiatric company emerging from the merger of the University Psychiatric Services Bern (UPD) and the Psychiatric Center Münsingen (PZM), we are looking for a visionary leader who, as a member of the executive management, takes overall responsibility for ICT and digitalization in the merged company. You shape our digital future – as a strategic driver of integration, standardization, and innovation in the ICT area. In this key position, you lead the ICT Directorate strategically, organizationally, and financially. You develop a powerful ICT architecture, drive digital innovations forward, and ensure the secure and efficient operation of our systems.

• You are responsible for both information and data security as well as regulatory compliance
• You lead the ICT team and manage external partners and service providers
• As a member of the executive management, you contribute together with the clinics and directorates to quality, cost-effectiveness, and resource efficiency

• Completed university degree (computer science, business informatics, or comparable)
• Several years of experience in a leading ICT role, ideally in healthcare
• Proven experience in merger or integration projects (e.g., system migrations, organizational mergers, ICT harmonization)
• Solid knowledge in ICT architecture, cloud technologies, ICT security, process digitalization as well as data protection in the clinical information system Orbis and enterprise resource planning SAP
• Resilient, solution-oriented personality with a sense for change processes in complex organizations
