- Review and assessment of mortgage transactions regarding potential risks related to money laundering or terrorist financing
- Conducting due diligence clarifications for customer relationships and transactions with increased risks (including PEP) and preparing the basis for approval processes
- Advising internal/external stakeholders from the business (including Front Office, Credit Office, and product specialists) on questions regarding the implementation of legal and regulatory requirements in the area of anti-money laundering for mortgage transactions
- Supporting the development and further improvement of internal processes, controls, and guidelines for anti-money laundering as well as their integration into the internal control system of the mortgage center
- Training and raising awareness among internal/external stakeholders from the business regarding anti-money laundering measures in the mortgage center
- Active participation in projects and initiatives for digitalization and efficiency enhancement in the area of anti-money laundering and collaboration with audit bodies, Legal & Compliance of the 2nd Line, and supervisory authorities

Your Skills and Talents
- Higher education in economics or law or equivalent professional training with several years of professional experience as a Compliance Officer in the financial sector
- Very good knowledge of the relevant legal foundations (especially AMLA, FINMA AML Ordinance, VSB, sanctions)
- Solid experience in mortgage business or lending is an advantage, ideally with a focus on compliance or money laundering prevention
- You are characterized by a critical mindset, a service-oriented and analytical way of thinking, and assertiveness
- You keep a cool head even in demanding situations and can convince your counterpart with very good communication and presentation skills
- You have fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
