The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural, and associative field actions carried out by centers and outreach teams, the Foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social exclusion.

Job Description
- Assume, as a team, responsibility for socio-educational work, sociocultural animation, artistic activities, and reception with the different populations of the neighborhood;
- Contribute to the development of the neighborhood's associative life in a context of urban evolution;
- Participate in the development and supervision of the animation program, events, and holiday centers;
- Collaborate with the association's management committee and during general assembly meetings;
Ensure the association's management tasks within a shared coordination operation.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in social work, HES level, or an equivalent university degree;
- Experience in sociocultural animation;
- Proven skills in team support and follow-up;
- Initiative, autonomy, creativity, versatility, ability to take responsibility;
- Ability and willingness to work in a team and network: management committee, monitors, animators, administrative and technical staff, volunteers, activists, City of Geneva, neighborhood actors/partners;
- Willingness and ability to work within a collegial animation team;
- Good oral and written expression and synthesis skills, rigor, and respect for deadlines;
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social, union, political, and cultural system.
Additional Information
- Experience in the associative field;
- Openness to flexible and irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and school holidays);
- Proficiency in common computer tools (Word, Excel, etc.);
- D1 driving license, an asset;
- Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale, maximum class 15;
- Start date August 2026;
