As a Key Account Manager Auto / Cargo in the Key Account Management department, you take responsibility for the strategic support and further development of the largest Auto / Cargo customers in Switzerland. Together with a dedicated field sales team and your internal sales partner, you work purposefully to further expand our market position with the defined key customers and realize significant growth. You know the needs of your customers – at dealers and locations as well as at headquarters – and develop individual strategies to exploit potential.
Tasks
- Development and implementation of individual key account strategies and development plans per customer. Targeted building and expansion of sustainable networks – especially with the most important decision-makers (including C-level) – for strategic exploitation of potential.
- Independent identification, contact, and maintenance of decision-makers. Independent customer visits at company headquarters and locations – if necessary together with field sales or specialists.
- Close cooperation with regionally responsible field sales employees as well as tandem work with an internal KAM employee for optimal customer support across all levels.
- Coordination and co-support of international customers in cooperation with international Key Account Management. Participation in the further development of market-specific cooperation, e.g., through workshops, sales support, or marketing initiatives.
- Strengthening customer loyalty through targeted use of processes, services, and value-added offers along the customer journey.
- Responsibility for the analysis and monitoring of key figures, contract contents, and performance with KAM customers. Taking over relevant administrative tasks within the scope of customer responsibility.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in key account management – ideally in the Auto / Cargo sector – as well as sound industry knowledge and an existing network of relevant decision-makers.
- Negotiation-level language skills in German and French, high customer orientation, confident appearance at C-level, as well as technical understanding for target-group-appropriate consulting and solution finding.
- Sound knowledge in customer analysis and the development and implementation of sales strategies; strong numerical understanding and experience in dealing with KPIs and customer controlling.
- High degree of self-motivation, success-oriented and structured working style, pronounced self-organization, as well as very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland (2–3 days/week).
