Project Manager for Interdisciplinary Oncology Centers
To complement its team, the interdisciplinary oncology centers of the UNIL-CHUV Department of Oncology (DO) are looking for a project manager at a 60% activity rate.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
For more than 10 years, the complexity of cancer patient care has led CHUV to establish interdisciplinary centers. Each center relies on an interdisciplinary team composed of experts from different hospital services/departments (surgeon, oncologist, radiation oncologist, radiologist, pathologist, referring nurse) to provide patients with individualized and coordinated care that meets the highest quality standards.
Mission
As part of the mission entrusted to you, you will work within the coordination team of the centers supervised by the operational manager of the interdisciplinary oncology centers and her deputy.
You will be asked to coordinate a defined number of interdisciplinary oncology centers and carry out routine operational tasks including:
- You ensure the preparation, facilitation, and follow-up of Center committees (annual) and bilateral meetings (quarterly) in collaboration with the medical representative and the operational manager
- You analyze quarterly indicators, identify improvement potentials, and propose corrective actions
- You review and update the center's documentation
- You ensure participation in the internal and external visibility of the center in interface with the concerned services and the Department of Oncology communication.
This position includes regular exchanges and close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and the various professional groups that make up the centers.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in management/administration/finance or an equivalent qualification, preferably complemented by project management training or equivalent
- You have managed organizational, quality, or change management projects for at least 1 year
- You are familiar with the healthcare field (an asset)
- You have demonstrated your ability to work in a team, negotiate, be proactive, and solution-oriented
- You are dynamic, autonomous, proactive, and have very good organizational skills
- You have good analytical and synthesis skills
- You are comfortable speaking in public and master English (B2).
