The Tax team at IKEA Supply AG (ISAG) is part of the Business Performance & Support organisation and is responsible for the tax position of ISAG and its foreign subsidiaries. The areas of responsibility include among other tax advisory, tax risk management including tax audits, transfer pricing, ensuring tax compliance as well as supporting the Core Business Supply with tax advice.We are seeking a candidate who can seamlessly integrate into our team and contribute effectively to our diverse operations.
Job Description
The purpose of the job is to ensure accurate and timely direct tax and transfer pricing compliance for non-Swiss IKEA Supply entities across multiple jurisdictions. The role focuses on managing and coordinating compliance deliverables including tax returns and tax payments as well as assisting in transfer pricing compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate non-Swiss Corporate Income Tax compliance matters for several (non-Swiss) IKEA Supply entities, including collecting data for filings and preparing tax returns, review and/or ensure payments in close cooperation with tax advisors and internal stakeholders
- Calculate or support the calculation of tax provision schedules and other reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and alignment with accounting
- Assist in the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and related compliance tasks
- Support with tax audits and provide documentation and analysis as required
- Lead or support the Annual Tax Review process for the IKEA Supply entities
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance processes and internal controls
- Monitor compliance timelines, coordinate with local offices and advisors, and follow up to ensure timely completion of filings and payments
- Contribute to project-based work in areas such as new market entries, structural changes or tax reporting improvements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should bring:
- Sound know-how in corporate income tax compliance matters and at least 3 years of practical experience
- Candidates with a background in Accounting or Tax are encouraged to apply, as their skills are highly compatible with the nature of the work we engage in.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and their application in a tax context
- Good command of Excel and ability to work with financial data
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of transfer pricing concepts is an advantage
