Desired profile

Lawyer's diploma, bachelor's or master's degree in law and demonstrate sufficient practical knowledge for the exercise of the function

The elected magistrate will work in civil and criminal law. He/she will regularly be required to work and conduct debates in German and French

Active citizenship at the cantonal level. Foreign nationals must hold a settlement permit and have been domiciled in the canton for at least five years. Candidates must not be subject to bankruptcy, must not have been criminally convicted for acts incompatible with the function
- Mastery of the German language with very good knowledge of the French language
