Case Manager at the Palliative Care Service
Attached to the Department of Medicine, the Palliative and Supportive Care Service, located at the Nestlé Hospital, is looking for a hospital stay coordinator (CHOP)/case manager at a 50% rate starting December 1, 2025, or a date to be agreed upon.
Specifically responsible for developing a tracking and data entry table for medical billing, the sought CHOP coordinator / Case manager must be personable and have excellent Excel skills.

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Attached to the Department of Medicine, the Palliative and Supportive Care Service is responsible for all medical treatments, physical care, psychological, social, and spiritual support intended for patients suffering from a progressive incurable condition.

CHOP codes represent medical or surgical acts performed during a hospital stay. These acts, combined with the patient's diagnoses, allow the stay to be classified into a DRG (Diagnosis Related Group). The DRG reflects the complexity and type of treatment and serves as the basis for hospital billing.
Mission
- You develop the tracking table and complete it rigorously
- You monitor CHOP indicators and report during dedicated sessions
- You train your colleagues as the reference for CHOP code tracking
- You provide administrative support related to this activity for colleagues.
Profile
- You hold a CFC diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You have excellent command of common IT tools (especially Excel)
- You are autonomous, rigorous, precise, and reliable, and you demonstrate discretion
- You have several years of experience in a secretarial role for medical billing.
