The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Primary Level Department is responsible for the training of primary school teachers. It currently offers three bachelor's degree programs as well as subject and level extensions that provide fundamental competencies for teaching at the primary level.
This is what you will do.
- Teaching in the training of prospective teachers with a focus on learning and developmental psychology
- Accompanying and advising students in practical professional training as a mentor
- Participation in innovation projects for the continuous development of the curriculum of the Primary Level Department
- Supervision of bachelor theses and examiner at diploma examinations
- Participation as a Quest assessor
This is what you bring with you.
- Completed master's degree in psychology or educational sciences, doctorate is an advantage
- Teaching diploma, preferably for primary level
- Several years of successful teaching experience, ideally at the primary level
- Higher education didactic skills desired
- Independent, responsible, and innovative way of working
