About the job
Teaching assignment for Geography 40%The Kantonsschule Zimmerberg in Au ZH was newly opened in August 2020. In its upcoming seventh year of operation, it is expected to have 25 classes with a total of around 600 students. It offers a long and a short gymnasium with five Matura profiles (classical languages, modern languages, mathematical-scientific, economic-legal, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). In the young, manageable Kantonsschule, personal contact and the individual are at the center.
For the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for a teaching assistant for the subject Geography.
Your tasks
The teaching assignment will probably include about 9 lessons. If the collaboration is successful, continued employment in the 2027/28 school year is possible.
Your profile
You have completed studies in Geography, hold a teaching diploma for the subject Geography or are in advanced training for it, and have corresponding teaching experience at the gymnasium level. You enjoy working with young people and have pedagogical skills. You are an open, flexible personality interested in contributing to the development of our school and engaging beyond teaching.
