About the job

• you are part of the Online Desk of the Aargauer Zeitung and the main editorial team and jointly responsible for our digital appearances
• you constantly keep an eye on the news and ensure that top updates go online quickly and precisely
• you optimally stage our most important regional, national, and international stories online
• you independently realize follow-ups and further developments on current regional topics
• you work closely with all departments and plan content with the goal of offering the best possible online service
• you think multimedia and prepare content appropriately for different digital channels

• you are interested in regional as well as national and international events
• journalistic writing of news and quick updating of content come easily to you
• you have experience with multimedia formats such as tickers, livestreams, video, or interactive content
• you can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and work precisely even under time pressure
• you are flexible and regularly take early, late, and weekend shifts
• you are a team player and enjoy working in a dynamic news environment
