The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. For the management of our IT department in Zurich, we are looking for a
Head of IT 80 - 100%
Tasks
- Overall management of the IT department
- Planning, further development, and security of the IT application and system landscape
- Ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and protection of IT infrastructures, including communication tools
- Support for users of IT resources
- Responsible for the operation and further development of the entire IT infrastructure (availability, security, and performance)
Profile
- Completed master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or similar
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a leading IT role
- Very good knowledge of IT infrastructure, IT security, and Microsoft Office 365
- Analytical thinking and organizational skills
- Leadership personality with decisiveness and sense of responsibility
- Structured, solution-oriented, and sustainable working style
- Impeccable reputation
