Heating Maintenance Technician at the CIT-S Directorate
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security of the CHUV is looking for a heating maintenance technician for its heating-ventilation-air conditioning workshop at an activity rate between 80% and 100%, for an indefinite duration.
Context
The University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security of the CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance, and consulting, within its vast real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site.
The 3 main missions of the Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S):
- Construction and modernization: ensure the study and realization of architectural projects, as well as the renovation of technical installations.
- Operation: ensure the maintenance of all technical and biomedical equipment, as well as the infrastructures of the CHUV and its affiliates. Guarantee the production and distribution of fluids and energies necessary for all medical, research, technical, and administrative activities.
- Protection and security: ensure the protection of property and people.
Mission
- You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating installations
- You ensure the preventive and improvement maintenance of technical hot water production installations as well as related administrative tasks
- You carry out modifications and new small-scale installations within your area of expertise
- You perform inspection rounds of the installations in compliance with the service procedures and directives
- You ensure the follow-up of low complexity technical projects such as heating installation renovation
- You keep up to date with technological developments in your field of expertise
- You participate in the commissioning of new installations following the realization of architectural projects
- You participate in the workshop's on-call and standby service.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a heating engineer (or an equivalent recognized qualification)
- You have initial experience in the maintenance of technical installations
- You know how to use common computer tools
- You have a good knowledge of the French language, spoken and written (minimum certified B2)
- Your place of residence is within 45 minutes of the workplace (required due to on-call and standby duties)
- You hold a category B driving license.
