Technician Material Management
Your main tasks:
• Ensuring correct processes in goods receipt and responsible for goods deliveries of the WAG, for all departments, according to current standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Responsible for timely booking of materials into the associated warehouse management systems (SAP)
• Responsible for storing materials at the corresponding storage location according to material specifications
• Performing material transactions in the warehouse management systems (SAP)
• For materials not intended for the GCS or Biotech warehouse, recipients are identified via Comet, SAP, or through the supplier, and the material is prepared for pickup or delivery (post)
• Picking, provision, and return of materials and products for GCS Packaging Operations and Biotech
• Preparation and packaging of products and materials for distribution according to shipping orders and special packaging instructions (clinical trial materials, test samples, active ingredients, components, etc.)
• Configuration of "cold chain" shipping units for the distribution of temperature-sensitive products. For large-volume refrigerated transports with cooling containers (e.g., Envirotainer): handling, checking, loading, and dispatching the cooling containers
• Loading and unloading vehicles with forklifts or other suitable equipment. Performing warehouse movements in the WAG warehouses. Conducting internal WAG transports between the individual logistics areas
• Handling deliveries and pickups of materials by courier service providers including timely booking in SAP
• Management of packaging materials for shipping (e.g., pallets, shipping cartons, shipping units for refrigerated transports including cooling elements, etc.)
• Warehouse inventory management (inventory control) and maintenance according to all relevant SOPs, safety guidelines, and legal regulations
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and safety in the warehouse areas
• Reviewing SOPs in the area of responsibility and reporting deviations
Your profile:
• Logistician with at least 2 years of professional experience, knowledge in the industrial sector
• Reliable, flexible, persistent, independent, resilient, team player
• User knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), SAP, SUVA-recognized forklift license
• Very good German and English skills
• Resilience, initiative, flexibility, self-motivation, and a constructive/goal-oriented attitude are expected
