Position
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler I for our Splitbox team. The position is limited to one year.
Function Summary
As a Splitbox employee, you separate and prepare starting materials piece-accurately according to the order, document all orders completely in the designated systems, perform goods receipt and issue (person-to-goods and goods-to-person) including system bookings, maintain and analyze key figures (throughput, error rate, inventory deviations), and respond to email inquiries about orders, inventories, and process status in a timely manner.
Your Main Tasks
Piece-accurate separation and provision of starting materials according to order and specification
Complete documentation in the designated systems/documents
Goods receipt and issue of materials (person-to-goods and goods-to-person), including system bookings
Maintenance, evaluation, and preparation of relevant key figures (e.g., throughput, error rate, inventory deviations)
Timely processing and response to email inquiries regarding orders, inventories, and process status
Goods receipt and issue in high-bay racks up to 12 m height to ensure efficient material flow between high-bay warehouse, storage, and production
Regular inventory checks and stocktaking
Active participation in the daily Tier 1 Board Meeting
Collaboration in identifying, communicating, and solving problems as well as improvements using PPI tools
Strict adherence to safety and accident prevention regulations
Willingness to work shifts and possibly Saturdays
Proper storage according to FIFO and ideally according to the ABC principle
Your Profile
Very good oral and written German skills
English skills are an advantage
Good Microsoft Office skills
Experience in warehouse logistics and with warehouse management systems (WMS)
High reliability, sense of responsibility, and careful working style
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good physical condition; willingness to work early and late shifts
Independent working style, even under time pressure and in a multicultural environment
Willingness to work in cold temperature environments down to 5°C while complying with special Suva guidelines
