Specialist in Animal Husbandry - Focus on Ammonia Action Plan (80-100%)
Your tasks
- Consulting animal husbandry operations – with a focus on analyses and optimizations to reduce ammonia emissions (structural, feeding-related, management-related)
- Technical consulting in production-related issues (focus on cattle; ideally complemented by pig or horse)
- Active networking of theory and practice: organizing specialist events, occasional participation in teaching, coaching student projects, and involvement in practice-oriented trials
Our requirements
- Training at the level of master farmer, HF Agrotechnology, or BSc / Master in Agronomy or related fields
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in agriculture; experience in crop production and environment is an advantage – or motivation to specifically develop this through further education
- Strong social, methodological, and self-competence as well as enjoyment in interacting with agricultural operations
- Enthusiasm for the education and training of farmers
