Our 114,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Abbott Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) is looking for a</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Financial Analystfor its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.</div>Primary Job Function: As a Financial Analyst specializing in cash flow and working capital, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of the Operations business unit in Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD). Your responsibilities will include analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on cash flow performance, as well as identifying opportunities to optimize working capital. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial objectives. <ul><li>Cash Flow & Working Capital Management<ul><li>Support ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, including LBE (Latest Best Estimate) for cash flow.</li><li>Prepare, consolidate and comment cash flow reports for internal and corporate stakeholders.</li><li>Assist in developing tools, processes, and policies to enhance cash flow visibility and performance.</li><li>Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Inventory Management<ul><li>Collaborate with Global Planning and manufacturing sites to implement sustainable inventory reduction programs.</li><li>Contribute to entity-level inventory financial management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies (e.g., stock counts, reconciliations).</li><li>Perform stock-at-risk analytics to support monthly reserve calculations and reduce distressed inventory exposure.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Distressed Inventory & Freight/Distribution<ul><li>Coordinate Division-level reporting and analytics to support initiatives aimed at reducing distressed inventory.</li><li>Support financial planning and reporting for Freight & Distribution costs.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Reporting & Analysis<ul><li>Prepare and analyze periodic deliverables including LBE decks, S&OP reviews, and business performance reports.</li><li>Provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights to support decision-making.</li><li>Apply sound financial logic to solve problems and recommend improvements.</li></ul></li></ul>Minimum Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA/CFA preferred).</li></ul>Minimum Experience/Training Required: <ul><li>Experience:<ul><li>2-4 years in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)</li><li>Supply Chain / Manufacturing finance experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with business case development or cost-benefit analysis is an advantage.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>Skills & Tools:<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details</li><li>Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Oracle Hyperion, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP</li><li>Solid understanding of US GAAP/IFRS</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration across functions and geographies</li><li>Proactive and results-driven mindset</li><li>Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous</li><li>Cultural adaptability and emotional intelligence</li></ul></li></ul> Do you like the sound of this job and think you’ve got what it takes?
