The Birsfelden municipal administration is a modern service company that fulfills a variety of tasks for around 10,500 residents.

Starting in August 2026, we offer a committed and interested young person the opportunity to complete an

apprenticeship with us. The commercial apprenticeship at a public administration offers an interesting entry into the working world. The departments of Resident Services, Finance & Taxes, Human Resources, Municipal Council Secretariat, Social Services, Security & Rescue, as well as Construction, Traffic & Environment are essential stations of the diverse training. They form the basis for a solid and future-oriented commercial education.
