Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in the fields of care, medical research, and training.
The General Psychiatry Service (PGE) cares for adults aged 18 to 65 from the Lausanne region, within a hospital unit located on the Cery site (about ninety acute care beds) and an outpatient unit in the city. The multidisciplinary PGE team works closely with the care network to offer comprehensive, personalized, and coordinated care.
The social service, integrated into this interdisciplinary dynamic, supports patients in developing individualized care plans, involving relatives as well as social, institutional, and community partners.

- You support patients and their relatives in administrative, legal, professional, and relational aspects
- You assess the role and skills of patients' primary and secondary networks
- You mobilize social network resources to promote autonomy
- You participate in the development of housing projects, in collaboration with the relevant partners.
