Senior Stress Engineer

Analyze the needs of our clients through the issued specifications.

Justify and optimize the design of structures by performing sizing calculations and resistance to static, dynamic, and thermal loads, in compliance with current standards.

Monitor the proper conduct of static and dynamic tests and ensure the correlation of the model with test results.

Write technical documentation related to calculation activities during all project phases, including during vibration tests.

Actively participate in internal progress meetings and with clients.

What you bring:

You hold an EPF engineering degree or equivalent (Master's degree).

10 years of professional experience in a similar position.

You have mastery of all types of mechanical calculations: static, modal, frequency response, shock, vibro-acoustic, and thermoelastic for metallic and fiber-reinforced materials.

Proficiency in Nastran is mandatory and knowledge of FEMAP would be an asset.

You have experience in monitoring static and especially dynamic tests.

You are familiar with ECSS standards.

You express yourself and write fluently in French and English. You are able to defend your technical solutions in both languages.

You are autonomous, organized, rigorous, and proactive.

You know how to make decisions, explain them, and also enforce them.
