Presentation
In order to complete our team, the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of social and political sciences is looking for a Clinical Trial Manager (60-80%).
Under the direction of Prof. Eva Heim, a multicenter psychotherapy study with refugees is currently being conducted and funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The aim of the project is the scientific evaluation of a standardized diagnostic interview for the assessment of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD), as well as the development and evaluation of a therapeutic manual specifically tailored to the living conditions and needs of the target population.
The study is carried out in close collaboration with six clinical trial centers in Switzerland and one study center in Germany. This international and multicenter structure ensures sufficient participant recruitment and contributes to the high external validity of the study results. Positioned at the intersection of clinical psychology, psychotherapy, and transcultural research, the project makes an important contribution to evidence-based mental health care for refugees with complex trauma-related disorders.
