For the legal service in the General Secretariat of the Department of Justice and Security we are looking by agreement for a
Your tasks
In this role, you are responsible for legal matters such as instructing appeals and complaints, providing legal advice, and preparing reports. In addition, you advise the offices of the department as well as municipalities and private individuals on legal matters. Further tasks include drafting laws, ordinances, and directive drafts as well as statements on legal enactments and reports. You take the minutes in parliamentary commissions and working groups. Preparing responses from the government council to parliamentary initiatives is also part of your responsibilities. You also participate in working groups and commissions.
Your profile
For these tasks, we expect a completed law degree (MLaw), preferably with experience in the judicial sector. Good knowledge of the Swiss legal system is essential. An independent, committed, and careful working style as well as active thinking are important prerequisites for this position. Advisory and teamwork skills complete the required profile.
