• Overall responsibility for managing the operations area with around 50 employees in several specialized teams (network management, OT, metering, energy data management, telecommunications)
• Overall responsibility for the safe, stable, and compliant operation of the electrical distribution networks as well as for the continuous optimization of operational processes and concepts
• Development of innovative, future-oriented solutions for network management including load and production control (Smart Grids)
• Ensuring the ability to intervene and make decisions at all times within the on-call organization as well as leadership during network faults and extraordinary events
• Responsibility for operation, availability, stability, and cyber security of network operation relevant OT systems and networks as well as communication infrastructure
• Responsibility for metering and energy data management including data quality, regulatory compliance, and provision of billing and operationally relevant data
• Strategic and operational development of third-party business
• Further development of the organization in the context of digitalization, automation, and data-based processes
• Budget and resource responsibility as well as ensuring efficient use of resources with high supply quality
• Active participation in the network business unit management

• University degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, information technology or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience in a technical organization with highly specialized teams
• Several years of experience in network operation or system management of electrical networks
• Experience with metering systems and energy data management
• Solid knowledge in control systems, remote control technology, protection technology or OT system landscapes
• Experience in fault and crisis management as well as in overarching on-call leadership
• Data- and process-oriented working style with pronounced systemic thinking and enthusiasm for further developing innovative solutions
• Decisive, resilient leadership personality with calm presence – especially in time-critical fault situations
