We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and agile marketing specialist to support with the marketing strategy implementation for our rapidly growing Consumer industry. The individual will be accountable for creating and executing ROI-driven marketing activities using the full suite of marketing tools and channels. The individual will engage with stakeholders at all seniority levels to deliver effective campaigns and elevate the positioning of our businesses on the Swiss market as well as responding to our clients’ business challenges.
The role involves providing strategic and tactical marketing advice, incorporating business development priorities, and designing and driving the delivery of campaigns. The position will report to the Head of Industry Marketing and work directly with the Consumer industry business development and leadership team.
How you can make an impact
As Consumer Industry Marketer, you will:
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy in close collaboration with the Consumer executive team, delivering strategic advice that ensures strong alignment with business objectives and a clear focus on ROI.
- Lead high-profile marketing initiatives such as thought leadership, podcasts, events, sponsorships, content creation, digital and social media campaigns that create compelling and innovative experiences for our clients while ensuring buy-in and engagement from business leaders;
- Evaluate marketing campaign outcomes by analysing key performance indicators and ROI metrics; integrate client feedback to refine strategies and deliver differentiated marketing, impactful marketing solutions.
- Manage the allocated marketing budget with diligence, providing regular financial reporting to senior management.
- Collaborate with the wider Growth team, including PR, Research, Creative Design Studio and Digital team, to deliver distinctiveness and consistency across all marketing efforts; act as the key liaison between these teams and business leadership.
- Liaise with global and European marketing counterparts to share knowledge, best practices and to leverage marketing assets;
- Maintain a up-to-date and high-level understanding of topics that are trending in the industry to inspire relevant, timely marketing content.
- Support ongoing business growth and relationship-building initiatives to strengthen the Consumer practice’s position in the Swiss market.
Who We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing or related fields with 5-8 years of marketing experience, of which ideally some in a professional services firm or Consumer industry.
- Proven track record executing campaigns across all marketing channels and targeting at senior business audience.
- Client centric mindset with a genuine interest and knowledge for consumer trends
- Influencing skills - the role holder will need to be strongly represent the marketing function’s views, articulate the benefits of marketing activity in business terms, and confidently engage with senior audiences.
- An independent self-starter with a hands-on and make-it-happen approach to work
- Exceptional writing skills (content creation, channel specific marketing copy) including the ability to take break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand content for both external and internal audiences
- Working experience with Salesforce, Marketo or other content management systems and marketing automation tools an asset.
- Fluency in English and French or German.
