Part-time Librarian I (60%)

Class and annual salary (including 13th month):

6 68'456.-- / 107'475.--

Tasks:

• acquisition and cataloging of documents, with possible responsibility for a library sector
• public service and loan consulting activities (reference)

Requirements:

• SUP specialist in information and documentation, cantonal librarian diploma or BBS, or equivalent qualification
• adequate knowledge of computerized cataloging procedures (Aleph) of book collections
• knowledge of procedures related to "Information Science" and collection analysis
• knowledge of the main collections of cantonal libraries
• independence, sense of responsibility, reliability, and precision
• decision-making, editorial, relational skills and ability to work in a team
• availability to work on Saturdays and according to the Library's opening hours
• knowledge of the cultural environment
• good knowledge of the Italian language and knowledge (conversation and writing) of a second official language

Employment conditions:

• appointment or assignment: those provided by the Law on the organization of State employees and teachers of March 15, 1995 (LORD) and the related Regulation. Any changes in law concerning salary and organization are explicitly reserved
• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
