Service Desk Manager

Particularity
The IT Services Directorate (DIT) of the University offers a dynamic working environment, supported by a multidisciplinary team, in contact with a first-class academic community of researchers and teachers.
Field of activity
Lead the DIT Service Desk, responsible for IT support to employees and students
Define, maintain and optimize IT support processes for the benefit of the university community, including documentation
Manage the service staff, distribute and prioritize the various activities among collaborators
Administer and develop the support request management tool (tickets)
Provide quantitative and qualitative reporting on support processes
Ensure communication with various internal and external partners
Manage the budgetary resources allocated to the service
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification
You have extensive experience in IT support for end users
You are comfortable with project management principles (e.g., Hermès) and service management (e.g., ITIL). Certification would be a plus
You value teamwork and have successful personnel management experience
You are able to instill a service- and results-oriented culture within your unit. The principles of continuous improvement hold no secrets for you
You support users with empathy and adopt a pedagogical approach adapted to their needs
Proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language and you master written and spoken English
