The Kantonsschule Limmattal in Urdorf is a high school for the regions of Knonauer Amt and Limmattal. It includes a long and short gymnasium with all maturity profiles. The school currently has 140 teachers, 35 staff in administration and operations, and around 900 students; in the coming years, an expansion to around 1,100 students is planned.

To support our IT department, we are looking for an IT technician to start immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• 1st level support for teachers, staff, and students (including BYOD)
• Competent customer support (in person, by phone, and remote)
• Operation, maintenance, and further development of the IT infrastructure (Windows and macOS environments)
• Support and maintenance of the Apple device fleet (iPads and Macs) including MDM solutions (Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune)
• Administration and support in the Microsoft 365 environment (Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of clients, peripherals, and networks
• Analysis and troubleshooting of faults, creation of instructions and documentation
• Participation in IT projects and active involvement in the further development of school IT

Profile

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT support and enjoyment of direct customer contact
• Extensive experience in supporting and maintaining Apple devices
• Solid experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, etc.)
• Experience with MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune) is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style
• Enjoy working in a team, combined with analytical thinking and solution orientation
