The Opportunity
We are currently setting up Sales and Operation Planning at the Altstetten site to be able to plan production and upstream processes efficiently and at an early stage. You will play a key role in the implementation of the new planning processes and work closely with Production and all adjacent departments.
As a Production Planner, you play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely production processes. You will be responsible for optimizing planning strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and proactively addressing challenges to maintain a smooth production flow. Join our team!
How you’ll make an impact

Schedule and manage production orders based on capacity, material availability, and customer deadlines to ensure timely delivery

Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation, balancing workloads and improving efficiency

Act as a key liaison between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to streamline workflows and resolve potential bottlenecks

Track production schedules, identify risks early, and implement corrective measures to prevent delays

Continuously improve planning processes and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives

Utilize SAP (PP, MM, SD; QM is a plus) and MS Office tools to maintain accurate planning data, track key performance indicators, and generate reports

Proactively manage unexpected delays, material shortages, or technical challenges to ensure production continuity
Your background

Technical education with further training in logistics or production planning (e.g., Process/Operations Specialist or Technician HF) is a plus

At least 5 years of experience in production planning, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Ability to assess complex situations, analyze data, and make sound decisions under pressure

Excellent ability to coordinate and collaborate with different departments

Hands-on experience with SAP (PP, MM, SD; QM is a plus), SAP App-on DCP (G.I.B. is an advantage), and MS Office applications

Fluent in German and English
