Your Tasks

• With strategic, operational, and financial foresight, you take full responsibility for Step-Tec as a unit – including full P&L responsibility.
• You manage sales, marketing, as well as product and service roadmaps from the initial idea to market launch – always focusing on customer benefit and technological excellence.
• Step-Tec is internationally positioned through your business development – in close collaboration with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• You recognize talents, inspire teams, and develop personalities – with a modern leadership culture, clear goals, and an agile mindset, you create a high-performance environment.
• Through close integration with the TU (Technical Unit) "Milling" strategy, you strengthen innovation power, scalability, and the global competitiveness of the business.

Your Profile

• Completed engineering degree in mechanical engineering or micromechanics, ideally complemented by business management training in technology management or industrial strategy
• Several years of leadership experience with result responsibility in technology-oriented companies, preferably in the machine tool sector
• Strong ability to identify international customer needs and translate them into marketable technical solutions
• Inspiring, cooperative leadership style with experience in matrix organizations and confident presence at management and customer levels
• Willingness to travel internationally about 25% and confident use of MS Office including Visio and Project
• Fluent English as well as very good German and/or French skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
