- Coordinate the design, development, integration, testing and certification of complex avionics projects
- Demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations in order to certify the new system integration
- Write and review system requirement documents and certification engineering reports
- Write and review System Safety Analysis / Functional Hazard Analysis
- Manage external suppliers and liaise with customers, procurement, sales and authorities on a technical level
- Support New Technology and Innovation Projects
- Provide technical guidance to our production and customer support organizations
What you should bring with you
- University Degree in Electronics or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace or a comparable safety-critical industry in a systems engineering role (integrated avionics systems)
- Experience in military aviation and knowledge of tactical systems
- Knowledge of tactical communication, datalinks (e.g., Datalink 16) and radar systems
- Knowledge of EFIS, FMS, FCS, EW, ECM and weapon systems
- Working knowledge of FAA, EASA or MAA certification requirements
- Ability to work independently under challenging timelines and manage multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English (C1); German is an advantage
