About the Role
The Global Accounts Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls all sales activities for the global account customer in order to achieve short and long term overall objectives within the global business unit strategy. The goal of this role is to ensure BC consolidates and expands a profound relation with our global account and grows the top and bottom line business with them, thanks to a customer focused approach, a profound knowledge of our global account as well as of Barry Callebaut, high customer proximity and a good business sense.
Key Responsibilities include
- Act as the main link between the organization and the customer for the WE and CEE portfolio.
- Coordinate and act as liaison across Barry Callebaut to ensure maximum efficiency and success
- Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the existing long term supply agreements
- Having a full understanding of the customer strategy, their brands & categories in order to enable the offering of relevant solutions and identify future opportunities with the customer
- Coordinate closely with the Cocoa organization to align on business priorities, ensure seamless execution of cocoa-related activities, and support the delivery of strategic objectives for cocoa third party sales and cocoa usage into chocolate
- Lead proactive contract management and work in close partnership with the Supply Chain Business Partner to improve forecast accuracy, hold customers accountable for their projections and drive service KPIs up
- Direct and actively support the implementation of customer relationship management in the relevant segments and networks.
- Keep abreast of critical trends and evolutions within the area of responsibility in order to be able to react properly and timely.
- Support CI&TS efforts to deliver innovative solutions by providing customer feedback, market trends, and ensuring seamless integration of new products into the business strategy
- Develop a clear commercial roadmap for Specialty products, including pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans while supporting the team in project execution
- Collaborate with the function lead to design and implement a structured approach for driving productivity initiatives, while partnering with the local teams ensure effective execution and measurable impact
About You
- 5-7 years of experience in a commercial B2B-environment
- Master Degree in Commercial Engineering, Economics, Finance or simila
- Proven track record of sales success with large customers in a B2B organization in the food and beverage industry
- Proficiency with Google applications, SalesForce and MS Office
- Language: English essential, additional languages will be an advantage
