Trade Finance Manager

A leading multinational company in the trading and finance sector is looking for a Trade Finance Manager for its Banking team, based in Lugano. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with a broad portfolio of global banks, ensuring efficient and sustainable funding for the company's financial needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with a portfolio of banks, acting as the main point of contact for all credit, compliance, and operational matters.

• Structure and negotiate bespoke and innovative financing solutions, covering the entire spectrum of trade finance activities.

• Coordinate and optimize various financing structures, such as syndicated loans, pre-payment agreements, and factoring programs.

• Assist internal teams in structuring transactions to optimize capital usage and diversify risk.

• Continuously monitor and analyze financial needs to optimize the group's funding mix.

• Prepare periodic reports for senior management on facility utilization and financial exposure.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2-5 years of experience in corporate or structured trade finance.

• Proven experience in negotiating and managing relationships with international banks.

• Excellent financial analysis skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into tangible objectives.

• A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English. Knowledge of German, Italian, or French is an advantage.

• Solid financial modeling skills; familiarity with treasury or ERP systems is a plus.
