Deputy Co-Class Teacher Secondary School

We are looking for a maternity cover as a co-class teacher for a secondary class at the Oberstufenschule Aarau (OSA) from February 9, 2025, until at least May 24, 2026.

You will teach the following subjects:

• RZG (8 WL)


• Mathematics (5 WL)


• Music (4 WL)


• Projects and Research (2 WL)


• French (2 WL)


• German (1 WL)

There is flexibility in the subject combination as well as regarding the class teacher function.

Your days off from teaching are Monday afternoon and Wednesday.

• Willingness to contribute to existing structures and take responsibility


• You are innovative, resilient, and a team player


• You are a trained teacher or are in training and hold a teaching diploma for lower secondary level

The City of Aarau and the Municipality of Buchs jointly operate the public school in the Aarau-Buchs district school. Around 280 students attend the Oberstufenschulhaus Aarau, taught by about 50 teachers.
