System Engineer Secure Access Control

This is what you can achieve
- In this role, you are responsible for the technical design and integration of access control systems into existing IT environments
- You ensure the connection to server and database systems, integrate solutions, and guarantee secure communication within the network architecture
- In doing so, you analyze system requirements, interfaces (e.g., API, SOAP-based), accompany implementations, and ensure stable, secure operation of the platforms
- Your responsibilities also include incident and problem management in 2nd and 3rd level support
- You independently lead and coordinate projects in the area of mechanical and electronic access control systems – including door, escape, and rescue route technology
- You take on planning, calculation, implementation, quality assurance, and documentation of the systems and continuously develop standards in the specialist area
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland as well as occasional work in the central ID office and support complete your versatile range of tasks
This is what you bring with you
- Completed vocational training; IT expert in software development, architecture, and training, preferably in the field of access systems
- Very good knowledge of technologies such as servers, databases, networks, programming (MSSQL, .NET, PoSh, HTML, CSS, Java, etc.) and connection of interfaces (REST, SOAP, API)
- Very good MS Office and IT knowledge in the area of networks and applications as well as SAP (S/4Hana) is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in security technology (access, escape routes, intrusion alarm systems) and project management is desired
- Proven knowledge and experience in project management (planning and implementation)
- Communicative and resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Analytical, logical thinking as well as independent and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German and English skills
