About the job

You care for trauma patients in the emergency center as well as in the operating room, supervise them on the ward, and ensure appropriate follow-up treatment. You see orthopedic patients in the consultation hours, assist with surgical care and further follow-up treatment including ward work. All work is carried out under the supervision of senior physicians and in an interdisciplinary environment. Good internal medicine co-care of patients on the ward is guaranteed.

Start date May 1, 2026 or by arrangement

• Completed medical studies (Switzerland or EU)
• Professional and social skills for good interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• Confident use of the German language (spoken and written), at least C1

• Recognized training center Orthopedics/Traumatology, Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System, Category B1 (2 years Orthopedics and 3 years Traumatology)
• Opportunity for specific training in spinal surgery
• Sports medicine training and support of club and association teams
• Purely trauma/orthopedic on-call duties
