Company Description
The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psycho-social development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.
To fulfill its mission, the institution manages more than 47 structures spread across the Canton of Geneva and has more than 500 places for minors and young adults, offering outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.
To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for a certified educator for its Les Écureuils Doret home, which accommodates children aged 4 to 15 years on a medium and long-term basis.
Job Description
Support and assistance with the educational team for beneficiaries living in the home.
Support for parenting.
Close collaboration with placement services and families.
Openness to the developmental link pedagogy model.
Irregular working hours.
Start date: as soon as possible
Activity rate: 100%
Contract type: permanent contract (CDI)

Grade: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor profile in social work - University of Applied Sciences of Social Work (HETS)
- Certified Social Educator profile - Higher School (ES)
- University Bachelor profile - FAPSE License with one year of full-time professional practice in boarding school or IGE
- Bachelor profile in nursing
- Foreign diplomas: SEFRI recognition or equivalent
- Holder of the HETS practitioner trainer diploma or willing to follow the training (CAS/PF)
- Significant prior experience working with preadolescents and adolescents
- Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to diverse populations
- Autonomy, team spirit, and initiative
- Good organizational skills
- Good knowledge of the Geneva social network
- Good writing skills in French
- Knowledge and strong motivation for nautical activities and maintenance of premises and equipment as educational tools
Additional Information
Possession of a driving license (B)
Boat license (sailing and/or motor) is a plus
Must be Swiss nationality or hold a valid work permit.
