The Salome Brunner Foundation is committed to around 300 children and adolescents with speech development disorders and learning difficulties. With our various schools, we see ourselves as an important part of the educational landscape of the Canton of Bern.
The Biel-Seeland Speech Therapy School is a special public school for children with complex speech development disorders. The children are accompanied and supported in their development by specially qualified professionals. Small classes allow for addressing the individual needs of the students. Speech therapy and psychomotor therapy mainly take place as individual therapy. After the third grade, the children attend regular school.

Tasks
You will teach according to LP21, together with two other special education teachers in a primary class (kindergarten and first grade).
The class consists of 12 children between 4 and 9 years old. All children are affected by speech impairments.
Requirements
- Completed studies in school special education or teaching diploma, preferably with teaching experience in the special education field.
- Enjoy working with children and adolescents with special needs in the areas of language, communication, behavior, and learning.
- Interest in shaping and supporting.
- Open, team-oriented, and flexible
