Apprentice in the 1st Year of Training

To complement our «Fugu» daycare team Winterthur Deutweg, we are looking for an apprentice in the 1st year of training starting February 2026 or by arrangement

«Fugu» daycares are a private company aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. At the Winterthur Deutweg site, right in the Deutweg center, we have 320m2 of bright rooms available, which we have furnished child-appropriately. Outside, there are also attractive play opportunities for various activities. The building is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. Our cook provides delicious and healthy menus daily for the children and all staff. The daycare is organized into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

We are committed to your training! Several people are involved in your training. Our training supervisors, practical instructors, and educational angels support you with their expertise and assist you in achieving your training goals. We go a step further. In addition to the usual learning objectives, you will take on additional responsible tasks. This opens many opportunities for you with us after your training.

TASKS

• Learning the specialist knowledge and applying it in practice
• Supporting the group leader in managing the children’s group based on the educational principles of the «Fugu» daycares
• Actively co-planning the daily daycare routine
• Independently and/or co-organizing celebrations, festivals, and events

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed compulsory schooling and started training as a childcare specialist EFZ, specializing in children
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and motivated to learn new things
• Resilient
• Good manners
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
