Your mission:
In collaboration with our responsible accountant, you actively participate in the operational management of HYDRO's accounting. Your tasks include closing operations, monitoring suppliers and debtors, maintaining the general ledger, as well as managing fixed assets and treasury.
As a Business Partner, you are a privileged contact for the HR unit, particularly for financial and budgetary closing operations related to human resources.
You also contribute to the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget, especially regarding investments.
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely with Human Resources to carry out financial closing operations and budget preparation related to salaries and other personnel costs, while acting as a Business Partner.
- Participate in maintaining the general accounting: invoicing, fixed assets, suppliers, general ledger, and specific mandates (consortiums, etc.).
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, in collaboration with the Head of the Finance unit, especially for complex or non-recurring items (e.g., specific provisions).
- Ensure the monitoring of liquidity and investments, and report to the Head of the Finance unit.
- Collaborate with management control for the monthly budget monitoring of units and comment on certain variances.
- Resolve specific accounting issues, with validation from the Head of the Finance unit for complex cases.
- Prepare VAT declarations and play an internal advisory role on tax matters.
- Actively participate in the internal control system, in connection with management control and operational units.
- Assume the role of SAP Key User in tandem with the current accountant, on the FI, VIM, and SD modules as well as HR on certain parts.
- Master and ensure redundancy in invoicing operations for services.
- Participate in handling insurance cases.
Your skills:
- Federal diploma as a Specialist in Finance and Accounting with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in accounting management related to payroll charges.
- Proficiency in Excel and good familiarity with ERP tools, ideally SAP.
- Rigor and keen attention to detail, ensuring data reliability and meeting deadlines.
- Absolute discretion and a sense of responsibility in managing sensitive information.
- Organization, autonomy, and effective priority management.
- Flexibility while promoting team spirit.
- Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language (minimum B2 level).
