School Social Worker in Wabern (45 %)
- Consultation for students on (psycho-)social issues
- Consultation for school leaders, teachers, and guardians
- Networking and collaboration with specialized agencies and authorities, triage
- Advising the school on the implementation of health promotion and prevention
- Information and awareness-raising on relevant child and youth issues
- Professional advice and assessment in cases of potential child welfare concerns
- Classroom interventions and coaching of teachers in social challenges (e.g., conflicts, bullying) in the classroom
- Participation in a diverse team of school social workers
- Location: Wabern School, village schoolhouse, and mobile classroom (from preschool to 4th grade)
- Higher education in social work or social pedagogy
- Specialized further training, e.g., CAS Systemic Counseling or CAS School Social Work
- Experience and joy in working with children and adolescents
- Interest in being active in the school
- Independent and networked work, organizational skills.
- Open, empathetic personality and confident demeanor.
- Independent, team-oriented, flexible, resilient, and communicative.
